Agent Jane Blonde Returns
Microgaming has announced the return of its iconic hero, Agent Jane Blonde, in the form of a brand new pokies game, quite aptly named Agent Jane Blonde Returns. The developer could not have opted for a better platform to advertise its newest game, and has done so at this year’s iGB Live! The pokie has been developed for Microgaming exclusively by Stormcraft Studios, and promises to be every bit as entertaining as the original Agent Jane Blonde game.A 2005 Classic
The original Agent Jane Blonde was first released back in 2005, when the entire online gaming landscape looked and functioned quite different to what it does today. The new release runs on a 5 x 3 reel grid and 15 paylines. The sequel is a fantastic extension of the first game, with the theme staying true to that of a superspy pokie!
iGB Live!
Despite being everything that titles dating from the year 2005 are not, in terms of special features, the game does have a particularly retro feel, with neon colours and classic retro inspired designs. The title sports both a re-spin feature as well as stacked wilds, and promises to be even more exciting than the first instalment all those years ago.
To announce and celebrate the return of the iconic Agent Jane Blonde, the Microgaming stall at this year’s iGB Live! event has been fully branded in the pokies iconic features and colours, and passers-by can even get a sneak pre-view before the official release of the new title. For those players with a sweet tooth, the developer has decided to pull out all of the stops by making available a selection of 9 different flavours of ice cream.
Now if that doesn’t make anyone stop in their tracks, we don’t know what will!
Building On Prior Success
Microgaming’s Games Publisher, David Reynolds, has said that the team was excited about the new title, especially following the huge success enjoyed by in-house development studio Stormcraft Studios’ first creation, which was Fortunium. Reynolds concluded by paying homage to the original Agent Jane Blond, and finished off by saying that players can expect the same excitement and espionage thrills that they enjoyed in the first instalment of the game.
Reynolds said that he was convinced that the sequel was going to be every bit as popular as the original.
